BECHO (Uruguay) — LAFF Brisbane 2025 | Free screening

BECHO — Uruguay
Description
A musical, family-friendly animated fantasy inspired by the legend surrounding Gerardo Matos Rodríguez’s tango
classic “La Cumparsita”. Becho weaves music, imagination and Montevideo’s urban magic into a playful tale
about creativity, identity and the living pulse of a city’s cultural heritage. Brimming with colour and curiosity,
it celebrates how art travels across generations—turning small acts of wonder into something truly extraordinary.
